Screen recording of the live site

Frontend for Posh Celebration, an event-planning marketplace in Dhaka — browse and book venues, decor, food and entertainment, plan events with AI tools, and onboard vendors, all in one platform.

Posh Celebration calls itself Bangladesh's first AI-powered celebration marketplace: one place to plan birthdays, weddings and corporate events, browse packages and book vendors — venues, decor, photographers, musicians, food and more. I worked on it as a freelance frontend developer together with Usarion, the UI/UX design agency behind the product's design: I turned their designs into the customer-facing React interface, built on top of the Laravel backend with Inertia.js. It is a large product: a marketplace, AI planning tools, customer accounts and a full vendor-onboarding funnel, all in one responsive app.

(What I built)

  • 01Homepage with category search, quick category chips, AI tool entry points and a client-logo strip
  • 02Marketplace with five main categories and focused sub-categories — Venues, Decor & Equipment, People & Service, Food & Beverage and Posh Selection
  • 03Category pages with sub-category carousels, product cards with price, location and tags, and a personalised, location-aware marketplace view
  • 04AI planning tools — Posh Buddy (describe an event and get a plan) and Posh Planner (build a plan from templates)
  • 05Real Events gallery with filters for weddings, birthdays, holud and more
  • 06Free consultation booking form, corporate events page and FAQ
Show 4 more
  • 07Become-a-Partner landing page for vendors, with benefits, stats and testimonials
  • 08Customer account flow — phone and Google sign-in, cart, saved plans, notifications and orders
  • 09Deals of the week, most-selling and vendor-offer collections, plus blogs, help and policy pages
  • 10Fully responsive layout with carousels and smooth scrolling on every page

Process

(Problem → what I did)
  1. 01

    Problem

A very wide surface — marketplace, AI tools, accounts and vendor onboarding — had to look and behave like one product.

    What I did

    • Built shared React components — category tiles, product cards, carousels, section headers — so every page follows the same patterns.
  2. 02

    Problem

Browsing hundreds of listings across many categories had to stay fast and easy on a phone.

    What I did

    • Mobile-first Tailwind layouts, with horizontally scrolling carousels for dense category and product lists.
  3. 03

    Problem

Server data from Laravel had to reach the React pages without a separate API layer to build and maintain.

    What I did

    • Used Inertia.js to render React pages straight from Laravel routes, passing data as page props.

How it's built

The moving parts, from the people using it down to the data.

Designed by Usarion, built by me in React, and rendered straight from Laravel routes with Inertia.js — no separate API to maintain.

The product

21 screens from the real product. Click any screen to see it full size.

(On mobile)

Works just as well on the phone.

Every screen was built and checked on small screens too — the same product adapts cleanly from phone to desktop.

(Shipped)

Posh Celebration is live at poshcelebration.com.

The platform reports 1,000+ listed partners, 50,000+ monthly visitors and 300+ completed events — customers plan, compare and book from the interface I helped build.
